Al Baladi Stadium in Idlib went up in 1985 as a standing ground holding somewhere between 12,000 and 15,000 people; a renovation in 2010 converted it to all-seater and left it at 7,500. The club has played there through years when the town it represents had no training ground of its own, the civil war having scattered facilities along with people.

What Khan Shaykhun SC built instead was a result. In 2025 the club reached the promotion playoff against Ahl al-Mayadin and won it 6-2 on aggregate, routing the home leg in Idlib 4-0 on 28 July before holding out for a 2-2 draw away in Aleppo four days later. It was enough to send the club into the Syrian Premier League for the first time.

The cup form matched it. Khan Shaykhun beat Edan Club on penalties, 4-2, to take the Shahid Cup, named for the war's dead. The badge the players wear carries a mosque dome on a green and white field.

Away from the men's football side, the club's volleyball section won the Syrian Premier Volleyball League in the same year.
