About the player
Beni Souza was born in Tremblay-en-France and holds French nationality alongside Congolese heritage. He came through the youth ranks at Villepinte and Le Havre, having also spent time in futsal with Artistes de Futsal.
His senior career began away from the traditional academy route, at Amora FC in Liga 3, where he scored twice in 11 appearances during the 2023–24 season. He made 11 appearances in Liga Portugal 2 for SL Benfica B in May 2024.
In 2025–26, on loan at Académica de Coimbra, Souza scored seven goals in 29 Liga 3 matches. That run of form led to a permanent transfer to Estrela da Amadora, on a four-year contract running until June 2029.
