Emerson Pedro Vanga

Emerson Pedro Vanga's football education began far from Portugal, at Grenoble Foot 38, before a short spell at FC Seyssins in 2018 preceded a bigger move: that same year he joined the academy at Olympique Lyonnais. In July 2024, with his aspirant contract at an end, Vanga turned down a professional deal from Lyon and instead left as a free agent that September for Feyenoord, signing a one-year contract with the option of a second. In Rotterdam he mainly featured for the U19 team, making 20 appearances and scoring three goals with an assist across the Eredivisie U19 and the Coupe Gambardella, while also being attached to the U21 squad. His contract with Feyenoord ran out at the end of June 2025, and that September he arrived at Estrela da Amadora on a free transfer. He was initially assigned to the club's U23 side in the Liga Revelação. His senior debut came in the Primeira Liga against Alverca, when he was brought on as a substitute in the 64th minute of a match that finished 2-2. Born in France to Angolan roots, Vanga holds dual French and Angolan nationality, though he has yet to be capped at senior international level by either federation.
