Jhohan Sebastián Romaña Espitia

Jhohan Sebastián Romaña Espitia joined the club's youth ranks in 2006 and made his senior debut in 2016. That first appearance came as a substitute in a 2–0 win over Águilas Doradas, and although he remained a fringe figure rather than a regular starter, he was part of the squad that won the Categoría Primera A Torneo Apertura that year.

In December 2020 he signed for Austin FC ahead of the club's inaugural Major League Soccer season. A loan spell took him back to Paraguay in 2023, this time with Club Olimpia, before he returned to Austin FC.

January 2024 brought another loan, to San Lorenzo de Almagro in Argentina, a move San Lorenzo pushed through despite reportedly having rejected an offer of close to €4.7 million for him beforehand. He went on to sign a longer-term arrangement with the Buenos Aires club running to the end of 2026.

Romaña's international recognition arrived without any senior underage caps behind him: his debut for Colombia came on 3 June 2026, in a friendly win over Jordan played in San Diego. The call-up carried straight through to the biggest stage available to him, as he was named in Colombia's preliminary 55-man squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup and took part in the tournament, having missed out on the previous year's Copa América squad.
