About the player
Ronaldo Dimas is a Toluca academy product through and through: he joined the club's youth ranks in 2015, having started out a year earlier with Dorados de Sinaloa's Sub-13 side, and worked his way up through the Sub-15, Sub-17, Sub-20 and Sub-23 categories before making his senior step with Toluca's U23 team in the Liga MX U23 competition in the 2022/2023 season.
The pattern repeated in the 2025 Campeones Cup and the 2026 Leagues Cup, both won by Toluca, where Hugo González played every minute of the finals with Dimas as his understudy.
