Louisville had already had a taste of the NFL by the time Aaron Hertzman put a team together — the Brecks, or Breckenridges, had come and gone between 1921 and 1923, playing at Eclipse Park until fire took it down and finishing out their run at Parkway Field.
What followed is remembered less for the football than for the arithmetic. Under Lenny Sachs the Colonels went 0–4, and in four road games they did not put a single point on the board, conceding 108.
The Colonels never won anything worth recording, and left the league having never once scored.
