Celje — Rogaska: 59:79, Slovenian Cup

Rogaska moved through to the next round of the Slovenian Cup with a 79-59 win over Celje on Tuesday evening. The result came after two previous meetings this season where the visitors had also come out on top, 107-78 and 101-71.

By then the pattern was clear enough. Rogaska never really looked threatened despite their recent run of defeats, while Celje paid for a sloppy start and never found a way back.

Celje's form has been uneven of late. They had beaten Ljubljana 75-64 in October 2025, but losses to Zlatorog Lasko and Vojnik followed, and the two heavy defeats to Rogaska made the picture worse.

Rogaska arrived in different circumstances. They'd lost four of their last five, including a 87-49 hammering by Polzela just three days earlier, but this performance suggested they were ready to put that behind them.

The 20-point margin tells you everything. Celje had no answers once Rogaska found their rhythm, and there was nothing to suggest a different outcome from the opening tip-off.
