Slovenian Cup 2025/26

The Slovenian Basketball Cup serves as the premier domestic knockout competition for men's basketball in Slovenia. Established in 1991 by the Basketball Federation of Slovenia (Košarkarska zveza Slovenije, KZS), the tournament began with its inaugural final in 1992, following the nation's independence. While the Slovenian First Basketball League determines the national champion through a regular season and playoffs, the cup operates independently to crown a separate knockout victor.

The competition structure begins with preliminary rounds that may feature teams from lower divisions if registrations exceed twelve. These early stages are contested over two legs. The event concludes with a Final Four weekend, where semi-finals and the final are played as single matches at a neutral venue. Past final four sites have included Kodeljevo Hall in Ljubljana and Arena Maribor. The tournament currently carries the sponsorship name Pokal Spar.

Cedevita Olimpija stands as the most successful club in the competition's history. The team holds twenty-five titles, a record that includes victories inherited from the former KK Olimpija. They also entered the 2024–25 season as the reigning champions. The primary reward for winning the cup is qualification for European competitions, specifically the FIBA Europe Cup, provided the club has not already secured a place through the league standings. This trophy remains distinct from the Slovenian Basketball Supercup, which is a single match played between the league champion and the cup winner.
