Vallée BBC Residence secured a comfortable 85:61 victory over Grevenmacher Heschter in the Total League on 2026-09-26. The hosts dominated proceedings from the opening tip-off, establishing a lead that never wavered.
The win maintains the home side's position in the middle of the pack. Vallée BBC Residence sit seventh in the standings after 22 games, with 11 wins and 11 defeats to their name.
To be fair, the visitors had shown resilience in their previous outing. On 2026-09-20, they edged past Muzel Pikes in a tight 84:83 contest. That narrow margin suggests they were not far off their best form before facing the hosts.
The hosts, however, have been inconsistent of late. And here's the thing: they suffered a defeat to Ésh on 2026-09-19, having bounced back from a loss to Cordeau Steelers earlier in the month. The result against Heschter provides a morale boost after that stumble.
The scoreline reflected the disparity in quality on the night. Vallée BBC Residence controlled the tempo, while Grevenmacher Heschter struggled to find their rhythm. By then, the outcome was beyond doubt.
The result leaves the hosts in seventh place. The gap to the teams above remains a challenge for the remainder of the season.
