Total League (Luxembourg) 2026/27

The Luxembourg Basketball League is the top-tier men's basketball competition in the country, sitting at the apex of the domestic pyramid. Governed by the Fédération Luxembourgeoise de Basketball, which was founded on December 10, 1933, the league itself was established the same year, with the first championship held in 1933–34.

The competition currently features 12 clubs, though this season includes teams such as Amicale Steinsel, BBC Contern, Bertrange, Esch, Ettelbruck, and Kordall Steelers. The season structure comprises a regular season in a double round-robin format, resulting in 22 games per team. This is followed by playoffs for the top eight teams. The quarterfinals and semifinals are typically best-of-three series, leading to a definitive final.

Relegation involves the bottom two teams dropping directly to the second division, Nationale 2. The top two teams from Nationale 2 are promoted, while a playoff series determines the final spot between the third-placed Nationale 2 team and the third-last LBBL team. BBC Etzella is the most successful club with 17 titles, followed by BBC Nitia with 16 and T71 Dudelange with 13. BBC Etzella are the current defending champions for the 2024–25 season.

The league has undergone several rebrandings due to sponsorship. It was known as the Diekirch League until 2012, the Total League from 2012 to 2021, and the LBBL from 2021 to 2024. Since 2024, it has been known as the Enovos League. The primary distinction from other Luxembourgish competitions is its status as the premier league for domestic dominance, whereas the Loterie Nationale Coupe de Luxembourg is a separate, single-elimination knockout cup competition.
