Bertrange

Eleven league titles look like a habit. The five Luxembourg Cups sit alongside those championships, the most recent from 2010.

The club grew out of Bertrange in 1935. Yannick Verbeelen and Victor Stein both came through it into the Luxembourg national team, and Dorian Grosber went further still, leaving the youth ranks for ALBA Berlin. Chris Wulff's name runs through the club a different way, from player to long-serving coach, while Sohrab Ziai, who collected several of those championships as a player, now sits on the committee that runs the club.

Matches of any size are played at the Centre Culturel et Sportif Atert, which holds 1,500, in red and white, the colours Sparta has kept throughout. The team competes in the Total League, Luxembourg's top division, where the rivalry with Gréngewald Hueschtert continues to decide who finishes near the summit.
