Two hundred and fifty seats fit inside the Tramsschapp, a hall in Luxembourg City's Limpertsberg district that doubles as a cultural venue.

The club traces its basketball back to 1933, formalised in 1950, but the name on the door has not stayed fixed. In 1980 Racing merged with C.A. Spora into Basket Sporting Luxembourg, and it took until 1993 for the club to split off again under its own name. The 1967 championship sent Racing into the European Champions Cup, where Gießen 46ers ended the run. The women's team, Racing Luxembourg Dames, had already put its own name on the league in 1988.

The rivalry that still shapes the club's season runs against BBC Contern, with meetings between the two regularly carrying weight beyond the points on offer.
