Ariana Andonyan has left the Philadelphia 76ers to become general manager of the Los Angeles Sparks.
A protégée of Daryl Morey, she began her NBA career at Houston in 2015, where she spent a spell as the league's only female scout. She has also worked at Duke and at Memphis.
The Sparks have rebuilt their front office through the season, bringing in Zach Knowlton from the Kings and Nate Nielsen from Cleveland as executives. Both will now serve as assistants under Andonyan.
Los Angeles have missed the play-offs for a sixth straight season.
