Yaxel Lendeborg Eyes Starting Role at Warriors

Steve Kerr says Yaxel Lendeborg is in the running for a starting spot at Golden State this season,

"We've added good players — Yaxel, — and we think Brandon Williams can help us too. Our young guys had a great summer, they won the Summer League and did a lot of good work. Now we need to figure out who starts and what the rotation looks like. Can Yaxel play the three, with Draymond Green at the four, and Kristaps Porzingis or Al Horford at the five? What does that look like? We've got plenty of time to work it out," Kerr told NBC Sports Bay Area.

The question Kerr is turning over is a real one for Golden State: Lendeborg, taken 11th in this year's draft, arrives into that gap.

Kerr's framing — that there is time to sort the rotation out — suggests no decision is close.
