The trial of Chauncey Billups, the former Portland head coach, has been pushed back almost four months. Jury selection in federal court in Brooklyn is now set to begin on 8 March 2027, ESPN's David Purdum reported. The process had originally been scheduled to start in November 2026.
Billups was arrested in October last year, after the first game of the NBA's 2025/26 regular season, as part of a federal investigation into illegal gambling.
