EuroLeague Extends Deal With Referees' Union UEBO
EuroLeague and UEBO signed a new collective agreement running through the 2028/29 season, extending their long-term partnership on refereeing standards.
The EuroLeague has extended its collective agreement with the EuroLeague officials' union, UEBO, through to the end of the 2028/29 season.
The deal was signed by EuroLeague chief executive Chus Bueno and UEBO president Sreten Radovic. It followed an extended round of talks between the two sides, aimed at bringing the terms of cooperation into line with how the competition, the officiating role and the refereeing system itself have developed.
Both parties described the extension as confirmation of a long-term partnership and a shared intent to keep developing refereeing standards in European basketball.
