Justin Robinson has explained why he chose Barcelona over rival Euroleague suitors this summer, saying the club's faith in him before it even had a head coach in place swayed the decision.
"There was a lot of movement in the Euroleague market, I had several options, but I felt that a move to Barcelona was the right decision. When I signed the contract, the club was still looking for a head coach. What they told me on the phone call was great. I thought I could give a lot to this project. The fact that the team trusted me and handed me the keys to it... I will never be able to thank the club enough for that. When someone believes in you that strongly, you're ready to go through a wall for them. I'll do everything possible for us to win," Robinson told Mundo Deportivo.
Robinson arrives from Paris, where he had an eye-catching debut Euroleague season, averaging 14.6 points and 4.5 assists a game.
