Draymond Green has welcomed Ben Simmons back to the NBA, praising the Australian's recovery from a run of injuries that led many to write him off.
"Injuries always suck, and it's great to see him get another chance, that he's enjoying the game again. I talked to Ben Simmons and saw how happy he was to be playing basketball again. The first thing he said was, 'Man, I'm healthy. I'm healthy.' Seeing someone that happy to finally be healthy is incredible. He kept working even though everyone had written him off. And it's not like he needed the money — he was already set for life. But even though everyone counted him out, he got himself right and became a good NBA player again," said the Golden State Forward on his podcast.
