The Italian forward says the NBA let Leonard off easy over the Clippers' cap circumvention case, arguing he should pay all $50 million, not $700,000.

Danilo Gallinari has said the NBA's punishment of Kawhi Leonard over the Clippers' salary-cap circumvention case is too light.

"He changed the course of my career and put me in a difficult position by sending me away from Los Angeles. He should give that money to charity. He should pay all 50 million dollars, not just 700,000," Gallinari said on the podcast A Cresta Alta.

Gallinari spent two seasons with the Clippers. In July 2019 the club traded him, together with Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, five first-round picks and the right to swap two more picks, to Oklahoma City for Paul George.
