Josh Hart: Knicks Still Hunting After Title Win
The Knicks guard says New York won't ease up after its first NBA championship in 53 years, calling the team motivated hunters despite low repeat expectations.
Josh Hart says the Knicks have no intention of easing off after winning their first NBA title in 53 years.
The guard spoke to ESPN's Chris Fowler and John McEnroe during their US Open commentary, addressing what it means to open a season as defending champions and as the team every rival will be gunning for.
"I don't think we've become the main target, that there'll be this bullseye on our backs, because no one is betting on us winning it again. And we're using that as motivation: we're still hunters, we're not satisfied with one title. Obviously the next goal is to take another one. So we're hunters, and we like playing this game," Hart said.
