New Timberwolves forward Jonathan Kuminga says pairing with four-time Defensive Player of the Year Rudy Gobert will let him defend more aggressively.
Jonathan Kuminga has settled into Minnesota by explaining why he expects to defend with more freedom this season, pointing to Rudy Gobert's presence in the paint.
"I'll be able to be myself on defence, to play aggressively, because I know there's a specialist in blocking shots next to me. He's proven that many times already. I'll learn from him, watch how he plays, and he'll watch and learn how I defend. I think things will become much simpler for both of us. It'll be interesting, I can't wait to watch him," Kuminga said.
