Yegor Ryzhov Set for Miami After VTB League Spell

Yegor Ryzhov will spend next season in NCAA basketball, joining Miami after three years in the VTB League. Sergei Monya, who oversees national team programmes at the Russian Basketball Federation, predicts success for the 21-year-old centre.
Monya trained alongside Ryzhov during his own final years at Zenit and says the centre has since grown stronger. The season that convinced him came in Krasnoyarsk, where Ryzhov, playing for Yenisei, earned minutes after two years of limited minutes elsewhere in the VTB League.
