Paul George Explains His Role Alongside Jayson Tatum
In his first Celtics press conference, Paul George said he isn't here to steal the spotlight from Tatum and feels fully recovered from injury.
Paul George used his first press conference as a Boston Celtics player to explain that he sees himself as a supporting player to Jayson Tatum, emphasizing that he is not there to take away the spotlight or reinvent himself.
"We have a superstar – that's Jayson Tatum. I'm not here to take away the spotlight or try to reinvent myself. I've already played alongside another superstar forward, and we got along fine on the court," said the 36-year-old.
George also said he has put his injury problems behind him. "It seems I've overcome the injury issues, and now I can rediscover myself and get back into physical shape," he said.
