Rimas Kurtinaitis has left his post as head coach of the Lithuania national team, the Lithuanian Basketball Federation announced. His entire coaching staff has stepped down alongside him.
The 65-year-old took charge of the national side in October 2024. Under him, Lithuania finished fifth at last year's EuroBasket.
A new head coach will be appointed only after the federation's presidential election, due to take place in late October or early November. The federation intends to have a successor in place no later than the start of preparations for the next World Cup qualifying window.
