Disney and ESPN Films have announced a documentary on Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry, titled "Portrait of an Artist: Stephen Curry".
The film centres on Curry's 4,000th made three-pointer in NBA regular-season history, scored against Sacramento. It pairs that on-court record with a run of guests from outside sport: Oscar-winning actress Viola Davis, producer Rick Rubin, singer Patti Smith and musician Jon Batiste, who between them hold multiple Grammy and Academy awards.
The premiere is set for 9 October 2026, in IMAX cinemas only. A wider release on Disney+ and ESPN is to follow.
