Metallurg Magnitogorsk head coach Andrei Razin is at odds with defenceman Egor Yakovlev after the squad elected Yakovlev as captain before the start of the season, journalist Dmitry Yerykalov reported.
Razin had wanted Vladislav Provolnev to wear the armband instead. Yakovlev was left out of the side for the first four matches of the Fonbet KHL campaign, scratched from the lineup before returning to the line-up for the last two games.
