Gabe Vincent trains with Knicks ahead of camp
New York is weighing a deal for the free-agent guard, who split last season between the Lakers and the Hawks and is working out with the Knicks before camp opens.
Vincent, 30, spent two and a half seasons with the Lakers after signing a three-year, $33m deal in 2023. He was traded to Atlanta last season and finished the campaign with the Hawks.
Across his time with the Lakers and the Hawks he played 53 matches, averaging 4.4 points, 1.4 assists and 1 rebound, with 34.1% shooting from three-point range.
A deal is not yet done, and camp workouts of this kind often serve simply to let a club take a closer look before deciding. If New York does move to sign him, it would add a further ball-handling option to a side already shaping its rotation before the season gets under way.
