Monaco's Appeal Rejected, Third Division Path Closed

The French Basketball Federation has thrown out an urgent appeal from Monaco, closing off the club's last route into the country's third division for 2026/27.
The federation had already refused Monaco a place in the national third-tier championship, citing financial instability and organisational problems at the club. Monaco took the case to France's Olympic and Sport Committee, hoping for an emergency reversal. The committee sided with the federation.
