EuroLeague and Head Coaches Council Meet in Abu Dhabi

EuroLeague and the EuroLeague Head Coaches Council met in Abu Dhabi to discuss a closer, more structured working relationship between the competition and its coaches.

The two sides went over a recently signed agreement, which lays the groundwork for the first framework deal between the league and the Council. The document is meant to set out the principles of cooperation and give coaches a bigger say in how the competition develops.

Council representatives were also briefed on EuroLeague's strategic plans for long-term growth.

The new deal will sit alongside the league's existing agreements with the players' union and the referees' union.
