Josh Kushner's Firm Predicts Lakers Value Hitting $30bn
Kushner's investment company projects the Lakers' valuation tripling within a decade, driven largely by a forecasted doubling of broadcast rights revenue.
That price is already a sharp rise on the $10bn figure attached to the club a year earlier. Kushner's firm used the higher forecast as part of its pitch to clients while promoting the deal.
A doubling of broadcast rights fees is central to the projection, according to the firm's own figures. On that basis, $30bn is described as the conservative outcome. A more optimistic scenario laid out in Kushner's presentation puts the ceiling as high as $62bn.
The plan also targets a sharp rise in annual revenue, from $681m to $1.6bn by the end of 2037.
