Gabe Vincent turns down New York training camp contract
Former Lakers guard Gabe Vincent, 30, declined New York's camp offer after working out with the club, per Marc Stein, and will wait for a more secure option.
Stein reports that guard Vincent has opted out of training camp.
Vincent, 30, spent two and a half seasons with the Lakers after signing a three-year, $33m deal in 2023. Last season he was traded to Atlanta and finished the campaign there. Across his time with the Lakers and the Hawks he played 53 games, averaging 4.4 points, 1 rebound and 1.4 assists, and shot 34.1% from three.
