Luka Doncic returns to Los Angeles this weekend, 20-21 September, to prepare for the new NBA season, ending a summer spent mostly in Slovenia.
The Lakers guard spent most of the off-season in Ljubljana, where he combined rest with individual sessions under fitness coach Anze Macek. By all accounts, he is in top physical condition and ready for the workload. In August he also organised a mini-camp in Slovenia for his new Lakers team-mates, to build chemistry before the season.
The club's pre-season programme starts in a week. Media day is on 28 September, and the first training-camp session follows the next day, 29 September.
