Minnesota coach Chris Finch says 19-year-old centre Joan Beringer needs to become more consistent as the Timberwolves' front line changes around him. Beringer may get a bigger role in the rotation after the club traded Julius Randle and Naz Reid this summer.
In his debut season Beringer played 40 games, averaging 3.9 points and 2.3 rebounds, with nearly a block per game, in 7.9 minutes.
