Bill Simmons has emailed the Clippers demanding to be let out of his season ticket contract, which still had three years to run.
The journalist read part of the letter aloud on his podcast, addressed to the California club in the wake of the NBA's investigation into the franchise.
"We no longer want anything to do with your season tickets. The Clippers have broken the terms of their agreements with fans and ticket holders, so we would like to cancel our contract. We want to give up the season tickets and expect you to allow us to do so. We didn't sign up for this. Thanks in advance," Simmons said, quoting his own message.
