Toronto have unveiled a statue of the retired Kyle Lowry in the form of a dinosaur, and it will stand for one season.
The club held a celebration for the former guard. A team representative described the piece as a temporary installation. "This is an art installation to celebrate the occasion. For these purposes it will remain at the arena," the representative said.
The statue will be displayed in the lobby. Vince Carter was honoured in the same way earlier.
"We are always discussing ways to mark the most important people in our history. When there is more information, we will announce it," the organisation said.
