Tyrese Maxey on his bond with LeBron James
Maxey says he and LeBron James, now his 76ers teammate at 41, have become genuine friends despite training together as "colleagues" each morning.
Tyrese Maxey has described his relationship with LeBron James after the 41-year-old's arrival at the Philadelphia 76ers on a minimum deal.
Maxey trains with James in the mornings and was asked recently whether the two are friends.
"I train with him in the mornings. We have a good relationship. He's a mentor. We get on. Someone recently asked me whether LeBron and I are friends. I thought about it. We probably are friends. He's a veteran. We get on. We're colleagues now, partners. It's a funny and curious situation," Maxey said.
