Julian Reese signs two-way contract with New Orleans

New Orleans have signed 206cm forward Julian Reese, 23, to a two-way contract.
Reese went undrafted in 2025 and spent most of last season in the G League with Raptors 905. In late February he signed a two-way deal with Washington.
He made 13 appearances for the Wizards at the end of the season and started 10 of them. In those games he averaged 11.8 points, 10.5 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.4 steals in 30.9 minutes.
Raptors 905, his former G League side, are top of the standings but are winless after 14 games.
If New Orleans hand him a similar workload, the two-way deal may be a route to regular minutes rather than a place on the fringe of the roster.
