Stephen Curry says he feels strong and healthy after knee work

Golden State guard Stephen Curry, who played 43 games last season with a chronic right knee problem, says his summer plan left him ready for training camp.

He described his summer work: "I had a very clear and detailed plan. I worked on basic conditioning without unnecessary constant load on the knee. Now I am gradually bringing myself to the shape needed for training camp. I managed to build up enough repetitions, game practice and time on the court to train in the usual way and not overdo it at camp."

Curry acknowledged that his absences last season will matter to everyone. "But at this age, given the number of games, everyone has to deal with some individual problems. It is part of the late stage of a career, and it does not scare me. I feel strong and healthy. I am confident in my condition," he said.
