Baron Davis: Anthony Edwards has stopped attacking the rim

Former NBA player Baron Davis says Minnesota's Anthony Edwards has stopped attacking the rim, and calls it his main problem with the team. Davis, who played alongside Edwards' former teammate, has previously praised Edwards' potential, but his latest comments highlight a shift in Edwards' approach. "I love Ant, I love his game, but he is my main problem with Minnesota, because Ant has stopped going to the rim. As a superstar, you have to put constant pressure on the defence. He comes out on the floor, plays around with opponents, enjoys the game, runs through his tricks, his threes were going in last year. But when I come to watch you play, I want to see a show. I want to see you dunk on somebody. Ant should be the toughest player on the team, tougher than McDaniels. Get to the rim, take a few knocks. But he has fallen in love with threes, and I don't know if that will be enough. He should be shooting 10-15 free throws a game," Davis said.

Last season was Edwards' most productive as a professional. He averaged 28.8 points and shot 39.9% from three.
