Minnesota president Tim Connelly said the club is cautiously optimistic about seeing Donte DiVincenzo back on court this season.
DiVincenzo ruptured his Achilles tendon at the start of Game 4 of the first-round play-off series against Denver. Before the injury, the 29-year-old guard had played all 82 regular-season fixtures, averaging 12.1 points, 4.1 rebounds and 3.8 assists.
The coming season is the last on the four-year, $50m contract DiVincenzo signed in 2023.
