Josh Hart will keep playing with a splint on his right ring finger, an injury dating back to the 2025 play-offs that has never fully healed. Asked once more about the finger, the Knicks guard set out why on social media.
"Just so I don't have to answer this question again. Right now there's no option except joint replacement surgery. If I replace the joint, I won't be able to play, that's the end of my career. So the splint stays until the end of it," Hart said.
Hart played 85 games in the 2025/26 season and helped the Knicks win the championship, carrying the finger injury the whole way.
