Knicks Undecided on White House Visit
Trump attended the NBA Finals and talked with owner James Dolan, but the Knicks say the team will make a collective decision on visiting the White House.
The New York Knicks have not yet decided whether they will accept an invitation to the White House. President Donald Trump attended a game of the NBA Finals and spoke with owner James Dolan, who is said to favour the trip.
Head coach Mike Braun addressed the matter when asked by reporters.
"Our guys and the organisation as a whole are discussing this internally. The decision will be a collective one," said Braun.
The Oklahoma City Thunder, champions last season, did not agree to a visit, citing a scheduling clash. If the trip goes ahead, the Knicks would become the first NBA club to visit Trump during his terms as president. New York play in Washington twice during the regular season, on 18 December and 16 March.
