Rostislav Vergun on loss to Uralmash

Avtodor lost 80:75 to Uralmash at home in the VTB United League, and coach Rostislav Vergun pointed to the start of the fourth quarter as the moment that decided it.

"We lost, we're upset. Above all, we've probably shown ourselves that we have every reason to be competing for the win in every match. We played against a solid opponent. The key moment, I'd say, was the start of the fourth quarter. Although we didn't run into foul trouble until the last 30 seconds of the quarter, we let our opponent put together an easy run. That responsibility lies first of all with the leaders who were on the floor. It seems that at that point, not playing tough enough, we were letting the opponent take control of moments in the game. It's hard to count on winning serious matches like that," Vergun said.

Avtodor play their next match on 4 October, away to Yenisei.
