Alejandro Esteban Azócar Machuca

Coquimbo Unido's number 11 came through the Santiago Wanderers youth ranks before making his professional debut with Unión San Felipe in February 2020. He spent three seasons there, making 37 league appearances and scoring twice, before a loan spell in July 2022 sent him to San Marcos de Arica, where he helped the club win the 2022 Segunda División Profesional title. San Marcos de Arica went on to acquire half of his economic rights the following year, and Azócar remained with the club into early 2024.

The move that reshaped his career came in January 2024, when he joined Coquimbo Unido on loan. He made 30 league appearances that season, scored three goals and featured in the Copa Sudamericana. That switch coincided with the most significant achievement of his career to date: Azócar was a key member of the Coquimbo Unido squad that won the 2025 Chilean Primera División title, the club's first-ever national championship.

His place of birth is recorded differently across sources, with some pointing to Independencia in Santiago and others to Los Andes. On the international front, Azócar has yet to earn a senior cap for Chile, though he was called up to training microcycles with the under-23 side in 2023 under coach Eduardo Berizzo as part of the build-up to the Pan American Games.
