Ezequiel Ignacio Centurión

Centurión came up through Club Cipolletti before River Plate brought him into the academy at sixteen, in 2014. His senior debut came on 8 May 2022 against Platense in the Copa de la Liga Profesional, a match River won 2–1. The wait included a loan spell at Estudiantes de Buenos Aires in 2021, where he made 33 appearances in the Primera Nacional and kept 14 clean sheets before returning to River in January 2022 as backup to Franco Armani.

A second loan followed in July 2024, this time an 18-month spell at Independiente Rivadavia, where he won the Copa Argentina in 2025. Back at River, his shirt is number 33.

Centurión's medal collection is built largely on squad membership rather than a settled starting role. He was part of the River Plate group that won the Copa Libertadores in 2018, included on the "good faith" list from the semi-finals onward, and he featured in the squad that claimed the Argentine Primera División, the Trofeo de Campeones and the Supercopa Argentina in 2023. At youth level, he was with the Argentina under-23 side that won the Pre-Olympic Tournament and went on to compete at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.

Centurión was part of the Argentina squad that won the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, though he remained an unused substitute throughout the tournament and has not earned a senior cap.
