About the player
Felipe Chamorro came through the Palestino academy and made his professional debut on 3 September 2020, in a 1-0 win over Everton in the Primera División, signing his first professional contract the following March on a three-year deal. His contract at Palestino was terminated in November 2024.
In December 2024, Deportes La Serena signed him on loan for the 2025 season on a free transfer, presenting him as the club's first reinforcement. He settled in quickly, scoring twice in a 2-2 draw against Universidad Católica in February 2026.
Chamorro has represented Chile at under-23 level and was named in the squad for the 2024 Pre-Olympic Tournament, though he withdrew through injury. He received his first call-up to the senior national team in September 2023, for World Cup qualifiers against Uruguay and Colombia, but is yet to make his debut at that level.
