About the player
Francis Manuel Mac Allister made his senior debut for Argentinos Juniors in May 2016, having come through the club's academy, and spent the rest of that season on loan at Boca Unidos, where he scored one goal in four appearances in the Primera B Nacional. He returned to Argentinos Juniors to make 48 league appearances over four seasons, a spell in which the club won the Primera B Nacional title in 2016–17, promotion secured while he was still out on loan.
A move to Talleres in November 2020, in which the Córdoba club acquired half of his rights, brought 35 league appearances before a loan to Rosario Central in mid-2022. That loan stretched to two and a half years and yielded the clearest title of his career: Rosario Central won the Copa de la Liga Profesional in 2023 during his time there. He went back to Argentinos Juniors in 2024 for a further 18 league games, then moved on loan to Instituto in January 2025, making 22 appearances.
In February 2026 Mac Allister signed for Chilean side Deportes La Serena as a free agent, a switch reported in the local press. He is the older brother of Alexis and Kevin Mac Allister, and the three played together at Argentinos Juniors before their paths diverged. He has not been capped by the Argentina senior side.
