About the player
Loureins Martínez came through the Carabobo FC academy and joined the senior squad in January 2023. His early appearances were sparing: a single goal across two matches in his debut season, followed by one goal in five outings in 2024. That 2024 campaign was cut short in March by an anterior cruciate ligament injury to his right knee, which kept him out for the rest of the year. He was still part of the Carabobo FC squad that were crowned Venezuelan Primera División champions in 2024.
Martínez returned to become the team's leading scorer in the 2026 Apertura, with eight goals in 23 matches across all competitions, including a hat-trick against Metropolitanos FC in May 2026. He also played in the 2026 Copa Sudamericana, appearing six times without scoring, and made a single, scoreless appearance in that year's Copa Libertadores.
At international level, Martínez has represented Venezuela's under-20 side, though he has not yet been called up to the senior national team.
His contract with Carabobo FC runs until the end of 2026, with an option to extend.
