Marllon Gonçalves Jerônimo Borges

Marllon came through Fluminense's youth ranks before moving on to Estácio de Sá, Cruzeiro, Bangu and Flamengo, where he won the Campeonato Carioca in 2011. Loan spells at Duque de Caxias, Boavista, Rio Claro and Santa Cruz followed, and he eventually found it at Atlético Goianiense, where he was an undisputed starter in the run to the 2016 Campeonato Brasileiro Série B title, making 66 appearances and scoring three goals.

A loan to Ponte Preta in 2017 produced 48 appearances and led to a permanent move to Corinthians the following year. There he won back-to-back editions of the Campeonato Paulista, in 2018 and 2019, with loan stints at Bahia and Cruzeiro in between.

He signed with Cuiabá in 2021 and became a key figure, making 84 appearances and scoring four goals. He won the Campeonato Mato-Grossense in four consecutive years there, from 2021 to 2024. A move to Ceará in 2025 brought a further 33 appearances, three goals and the Campeonato Cearense title.

In January 2026, Remo paid Ceará R$ 870,000 for his economic rights and signed him until December 2027. He won the Super Copa Grão-Pará in 2026.
