Robson Mattheis

Robson Matheus was born to a Bolivian mother and a Brazilian father, and it was in Brazil that his footballing education began. He came through the youth ranks at Corinthians, Portuguesa, Palmeiras and Cruzeiro before a short spell at São Paulo side Ibrachina FC, and only then did he cross to Bolivia to continue his career.

He signed for Always Ready in December 2022 and made his senior debut in February 2024, a rapid rise that saw him become both a key player and captain within the squad. Across all competitions, including the Copa Libertadores and Copa Sudamericana, he scored 12 goals in 48 appearances for the club. In the 2024 calendar year alone he was Always Ready's top scorer, with 11 league goals in 36 matches.

That form earned him a move to Bolívar in January 2025, in a transfer worth around $500,000. He has also broken into the national picture, making his debut for Bolivia in March 2024 and being named in the squad for that year's Copa América, though he did not feature in the tournament itself.

At Bolívar, he remains early in his spell at the club and has not yet added a major league title to his career.
